Learning Library was a partner organisation on the training course “Explaining Europe – European Dimension in Youth Work” that took place in Struga, North Macedonia from 25-31 August 2024. This was a comprehensive training course under the Erasmus+ programme designed for trainers engaged in youth projects across Europe.
This educational activity aimed to explore in detail the European Union’s foundations and its implications for youth work. By exploring the history of European integration, differentiated integration like EU enlargement and Brexit, and the EU’s internal and external policies, participants gained a multifaceted understanding of Europe’s political, social, and cultural dimensions. Participants were also equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively incorporate a European dimension into their youth work, ensuring they can contribute meaningfully to the development of informed, engaged, and proactive European youth.
