Call for participants: “International training course within PatENT project, in Vilnius, Lithuania”

Learning Library is looking for 5 participants from Estonia to join the international training course on the project “Patent entrepreneurship for migrants“ in Vilnius, Lithuania from 18th to 24th September 2024.

 

*Selected participants will have obligation to take part in online preparatory activities that will take place 3 days before the in-person activity; from 15th to 17th of September. 

DATES: 18 – 24 September 2024 + online preparation (15-17 September)

LOCATION: Vilnius, Lithuania

PARTICIPANTS: 5 per country

COUNTRIES: Lithuania – Estonia – Portugal – Germany – Ireland

 

The educational training will focus on how to establish and run activities for empowering entrepreneurship with and for migrants. You will gain knowledge about the development of educational hubs, designing activities within the hubs, evaluating the activities and fundraising.


The core activity of the training will be contributing to the organisation of the international migrant’s fair in Vilnius where migrant communities will have a chance to display their business and attract new local customers. You will have a chance to directly communicate, organise and provide entrepreneurship support for the migrants. This work will be finalised with the actual fair during one of the last days of your stay. Besides the organisational part, during the course, you will engage in study visits, lectures and other educational activities related to the topic.

 

The working language of the event will be English.

 

Profile of participants:

 

  • Young professionals from youth work field, aged 18+ residing in partner organizations’ countries.
  • Possess at least a communicative level of English language, enabling them to actively engage in preparatory online activities, the training course, and subsequent activities.
  • Motivated to work on the development of their personal and professional competencies in an international setting (communication, teamwork, problem-solving, conflict management, facilitation, and presentation).
  • Exhibit a strong interest in the central theme of the project: entrepreneurship, patenting, innovations, migrant entrepreneurship
  • Motivated to participate in a mix-intercultural learning environment, and to contribute to successful project implementation

 

Travel and accommodation:

 

Travel and all related costs will be fully covered by the organisers. Accommodation is also covered by organisers, 3 meals per day and coffee breaks.
