Your Democracy website launched
In May 2024 we officially launched the first version of Your Democracy website.
The website is launched within the project “Do You Know Your Democracy?”; an innovative educational initiative dedicated to enhancing civic knowledge and engagement. With this project we aim to empower individuals by providing accessible, comprehensive, and engaging resources about democratic systems, processes, and values.
In the section News of the “Your Democracy” website, you can find the most recent updates from the project activities and work of partner organisations.
Educational materials section offers insights into our educational resources: Handbook 1 “Democracy, its importance and our local communities as democratic societies”, and Handbook 2 “Disinformation, media and manipulation with media in democratic societies, and how to stay democratic in these times”. These will be published throughout the year, and will be available through the website.
As part of the project, educational games connected to the topic of democracy will be developed and will be available in the section “Games”.
The Hubs section offers information about partner organisations involved in the implementation of the project activities and hubs. By clicking on “Open Hub” button, you will be able to find more information about each partner and activities of specific hub; regular activities and meetings they are implementing.
Don’t forget that you can always use the Contact form on the site, if you are interested in learning more about the project, joining some activities, or using the educational resources.
By the end of the year we will launch additional segments of the platform, and will make educational materials accessible to wider audience.
